Conference on the Trans-Siberian train
(Moscow-Novosibirsk-Beijing),
10-20 September 2005

1. Saturday, 10 Sept 05: Gathering and seminar in
Moscow.
2. Sunday, 11 Sept 05: Leaving Moscow.
3. Tuesday night, 13 Sept 05: Arrival in Novosibirsk.
4. Wednesday, 14 Sept 05: Seminar in Novosibirsk.
5. Thursday, 15 Sept 05: Board the train for Beijing
(via Mongolia).
6. Monday, 19 Sept 05: Arrival in Beijing.
7. Tuesday, 20 Sept 05: Seminar-conference in Beijing

The participation fee is estimated to be around 1000
Euros (including travel from Moscow to Beijing,
accommodation and boarding in Moscow, Novosibirsk and
Beijing). Alternative ways to participate in this
conference are possible and should be discussed with
the conference organizers.

Participants will have to organise their travel to
Moscow and from Beijing themselves, which includes
making their own visa arrangements. However, we have
started talking to some airlines, which are able to
offer participants a good deal. We will also provide
guidance with visa procedures, letters of invitation
etc. These details will become available nearer the
registration deadline. A one-way flight from Beijing
to Europe can be currently bought for approximately
300-500 Euros. A flight from European cities to Moscow
can be bought for about 200-300 Euros, although we
would encourage people to arrive by train."
